As a work at home mom it can seem like a challenge to get through the day feeling like you haven’t accomplished anything. The truth is you have probably accomplished so much and you don’t even realize it. This is not only true for work at home moms but just moms in general.
The reason you feel this way is because you didn’t accomplish enough if any of your top priority items. This can be avoided if you write down a schedule and list out your tasks lists by top priority to lowest priority. I do this every morning after my bible time to see what I have going on for that day. I start with my routine everyday items and list the extras or more specific items. Then I fill in the rest of the day starting with top priority in a realistic time block. I say realistic because if you cram to much in, you are likely to do only half of that. Which lowers the chances of you getting the important stuff done. Follow these 4 steps to the perfect WAHM schedule.

#2 Priority Lists
K-1: Homeschool (this has its own priority list to make sure we get the important subject complete and if we don’t have the time that day to do the last thing or two its ok.)
C-3: Clean Bathrooms
C-1: Wash dishes
C-2: Wash and fold clothes
W-2: Write content
W-3: Edit Photos
W-5: Create 1 Etsy listing
W-1: Fill orders
C-4: Sweep/ mop
W-4: Schedule social media
P-2: Catch up on Greys Anatomy
P-1: Spend time with The Hubs
Writing this list tells me what I need to do to feel like I have completed the important things. I will for sure homeschool, wash dishes, fill orders, and spend time with matt. I will probably get to all but 3-4 things on this list but if there were a longer list this would work the same. If you don’t finish something on your list move it to the next day and make it more of a priority.
#3 Fill in your priority specific items on your schedule.
7am- Work (Fill Orders)
1230-Tv time/Mom chores (Clean Dishes)
#4 Follow your schedule.
This is just as important then the other steps on this page. If you don’t follow the schedule all the work you just did turns in to wasted time and you will end your day feeling like you have not done a thing. Follow the schedule you created!!!! This has been my struggle my entire life. I love to plan and schedule and research about better ways to plan and schedule. However, when it comes to going about my daily life following schedules or lists or anything telling me what I need to get done gets set aside and I never end up completing those things.
The way I have helped myself is setting up notifications or silent alarms on my Fitbit. I am seriously loving the Fitbit Alta HR it does everything!!!! I found you guys the lowest price on the internet just click the link.
