Every year I search the internet looking for the perfect curriculum for my girls. I’m finally to a point where I know what to look for, for each of my kids so they can learn easily. I have two different types of learners. My first grader is a more visual and action learner which is also how I learn. She is also very active and gets bored easily. My Pre-K/Kindergartener is a audio learner and has an easier time with phonics then my first grader. I thought I would share what curriculum has worked for my kids this year and maybe give you an idea of what might work for your children. I will link the photos to the curriculum choices.

First I would like to say my middle child is 4 but has been so advanced with her numbers and letter sounds that I went ahead and started her on kindergarten level curriculum. She is loving it!! If she starts to struggle we take a couple steps back slow down and then continue. So far she has needed this once and she is back on track with her books.

We do the following books together as a group:
Niv Adventure Bible for Early readers we love this because it is written for elementary level they can read and understand the wording. It has an overview of each book and things like who wrote them. Also it has full color reference pages through out that tell you things like The 10 Commandments.
The Mystery of History is amazing because it has activities ideas for each age group so your whole family can do just one curriculum.
Apologia Exploring Creation with Astronomy we love space and this is based of a creationism view.
Apologia Exploring Creation with Zoology 2: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day we love love love all things water so we go between the two Apologia curriculum to keep it from getting stale.
The nature connection we use this to help us learn about nature more in depth when we go on nature walks and we also keep a nature journal.
