I’m so excited for this Clean with me series especially my new free spring cleaning printable checklists. I love have pretty lists to inspire and motivate me while I clean. Plus you can pin them on the wall or fridge and its like an added piece of functional décor!!! I decided to do this series to, one if I’m honest, help motivate me to get my spring cleaning done. But also I thought you all might get some motivation yourselves so win win. I love looking at these clean with me posts and videos online they always get me going when I don’t feel like cleaning. So today we are cleaning my main bathroom, guest bathroom, dogs’s bathroom, and 2 year old son’s bathroom. We have a lot going on in this room so I needed to find a solution to make cleaning in here and using it in each of these situations easier. So with out further ado here is my clean with me Bathroom addition. So as you can see with these pictures my main spots of concern are the under cabinet clutter, bathtub toys, and the dogs things. So that is something I wanted to solve while I did this deep clean. Ill show you my solution in a minute but first I’ll explain my cleaning process. First I always start from the top down just to make sure I don’t re track dust and risk having more work to do. So after I removed everything from the bathroom cabinets, drawers, tub and on top of the cabinet I cleaned the light fixture. Then I cleaned the wall hangings and the vent fan. Next I just cleaned the sink, tub, and toilet like I would normally only getting behind the toilet and the exposed pipe real good. I wiped out the Cabinet, and Drawers and then replaced only the things that needed to be there. For this bathroom I had extra soap and lotion for my son, dog grooming supplies, and extra guest towels. Then I cleaned the mirror, wiped down the baseboards, door, and spot cleaned the wall.
I decided to use this old basket to store only the things I use to groom the dogs. This keeps it from just laying around all over the cabinet and I can pull the whole basket out when I’m working with the dogs saving me time.
For the toys that need to be removed and hung dry I decided to go with this extra $.97 lingerie bag I had in my laundry room. I hung it from the water faucet its perfect I can easily remove it when I’m cleaning the tub, washing the dogs, or I have company. I can also hang it dry when he is not in the bath and it was something I had laying around so free, you can’t beat that.
Finally, I disinfected the doors and switch plates. I swept and mopped, and washed then replaced the towels, rugs, and shower curtain.
